Model wearing the Lunette hoodie in studio light

Every Valthyra release starts with one question: what can be made that will outlast the season it was announced in. For Form 001, the answer was weight.

Lunette is cut from 450 GSM premium French terry, which is roughly twice the weight of a standard sweatshirt fabric. That weight is what gives the garment its structure — it holds the shoulder line, falls straight through the body, and keeps the kangaroo pocket sitting flat rather than pouchy.

The colour is called Lunette because it sits between two things. It is not white, and it is not the grey of concrete. In low light it reads almost silver; under direct studio light it takes on a faint warm cast. It is the colour of moonlight landing on a city surface, which is the whole idea.

Fifty pieces exist. When they are gone, the form closes.
